Nidjalla Waangan Mia, a service of Oseca, provides Aboriginal Medical Services in the Peel and surrounding locations. We are a multi-disciplinary service working with and within our communities to provide high standards of care.
Position Overview
Make a Meaningful Impact in the Peel Region Community
We are seeking a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to work with our fantastic multidisciplinary Practice Team at Nidjalla Waangan Mia in Mandurah.
Working alongside GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and allied health professionals, you’ll play an integral role in delivering comprehensive, community-focused healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
The successful candidate will support patient care through a range of clinical activities including wound management, immunisations, health assessments, medication administration, and patient education. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a meaningful, collaborative setting with flexibility and scope to grow.
Responsibilities:
* Provide nursing care, including wound management, immunisations, and health assessments.
* Administer medications as per the prescription and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or General Practitioner.
* Monitor and record vital signs and assist with patient assessments and treatments.
* Assist doctors during medical procedures and consultations
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
* Adhere to infection control and workplace health and safety standards.
* Educate patients on health management, including chronic disease management and medication usage.

Delivering culturally safe, holistic healthcare to the Aboriginal community in the Peel region. This service includes clinical consultations, health promotion, chronic disease management, immunisations, and general nursing support — all embedded in a culturally respectful and community-led approach.

Who we are looking for:
You’re a nurse who leads with empathy, communicates with ease and is committed to making a difference. You’ll also bring:
✔ A Diploma of Enrolled Nursing
✔ Current registration with AHPRA
✔ 2+ years of clinical experience (General Practice is a bonus)
✔ Confidence working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
✔ A genuine respect for cultural diversity and community care
✔ Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients is highly regarded.
