**Your new company**
This agency is responsible for the implementation of major changes with personal disability funding happening across the county. This person centric model will offer individuals with disabilities and their families more choices, more independence, and a better level of control over the services that effect every aspect of their lives. They will be gaining full control over what and how they choose to use this support to complement their life choices and ultimately how they choose to live with their disability.
**Your new role**
As the Finance Officer you will undertake moderately complex finance related activities and tasks. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with asset management
- Costing proposals and initiatives as required
- Drafting a range of written material including business cases, reports, executive briefs and corporate documentation
- Establishing, managing and providing financial management advice to internal and external stakeholders to improve the financial management and operations in the organisation
- Exercising appropriate delegations in accordance with legislation and guidelines
- Monitoring and managing work output and quality against established performance standards through quality analysis and reporting
- Monitoring and reporting on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance to assist local management to manage overall performance
- Undertaking financial administration across the division's cost centres and projects, including budgets, monitoring, forecasting and accruals
- Undertaking weekly, end of month and end of financial year SAP FI system rollover activities and provide assistance to users of SAP FI
- Internal and External Stakeholder engagement
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- CPA qualification or substantial progress towards desirable
- Extensive demonstrated Finance experience in a medium to large organisation
- Extensive SAP and Excel knowledge
- Ability to generate and interpret data reports
- Demonstrated experience measuring and reporting on compliance with approved policies/procedures
- Ability to communicate and provide advice to internal and external stakeholders
