About the Role
As a Site Manager/2IC - Blade Replacements, you will lead and manage on-site wind turbine blade replacement activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with technical, regulatory, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily site operations for wind turbine blade replacements, ensuring safety and efficiency
* Plan, coordinate, and manage site teams, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project timelines
* Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets, reporting any deviations to stakeholders
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as required
* Ensure all work aligns with Australian standards, technical specifications, and company procedures
* Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, HSE personnel, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication
* Lead toolbox talks, site briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in the wind farm industry
* Previous experience managing wind turbine blade replacements or similar turbine servicing projects highly regarded
* Strong understanding of site operations, project scheduling, and risk management
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work procedures
* Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
* Knowledge of wind turbine installation or large-scale construction projects is advantageous
