Job Title: Production Team Member
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Member to join our operations team based at Ormeau. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for producing and assembling high-quality products for our trade and retail customer base.
Responsibilities
* Manufacturing and assembling Purlins to customers' requirements
* Operating and off siding Purlin Mill
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Collaborating with team members, other departments, and projects
* Participating in training on specific plant and equipment
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area
* Adhering to critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
About You
* Essential: Problem-solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Stratco products
* Essential: Strength and fitness to undertake frequent movement and lifting
* Essential: Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts and people
* Desirable: Experience with sheetmetal manufacturing equipment highly regarded
* Strong mechanical aptitude with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Solid understanding of safety standards and alertness of moving parts and people
* Willingness to enhance the customer experience with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
