About The Role
Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant or Manager to join our Corporate & International Tax team in Adelaide. You will be part of a high performing team that advises on complex Australian taxation law matters. Your role will involve providing advisory and compliance services to a diverse range of clients ranging from large private groups to complex international groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare income tax, GST, and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
* Research and draft advice on tax technical matters
* Assist with ATO reviews
* Prepare tax effect accounting calculations
* Develop strong and broad relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor
* Help mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a university degree in commerce, accounting and/or law (or related disciplines)
* Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm
* CA/CPA/CTA Qualification or Masters of Taxation (or working towards)
* Strong client advisory and communication skills
* Experience in tax compliance background, with a passion for improving advisory technical expertise and knowledge
