At Aurizon, we're committed to delivering safe, reliable and efficient freight solutions across Australia. We're looking for a Contracts Management Specialist to join our team in Adelaide, playing a key role in managing contractor performance across our supply chain operations.
This is a hands‐on role where you'll build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders, drive commercial outcomes, and ensure safety and compliance are at the forefront of operations.
About the role
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, service providers and internal teams
* Champion a safety‐first culture through active onsite engagement and leadership
* Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, service levels and contractual obligations
* Manage contract scope, cost, and variations to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, site and company requirements
* Support effective contract reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive sustainable, long‐term contract performance
* Contribute to the development and improvement of contracts across the business
About you
You will bring:
* Experience in contract management, logistics or supply chain environments
* Strong safety focus with the ability to influence and drive safe behaviours
* Commercial acumen and the ability to manage cost, performance and risk
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and drive outcomes
* Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
* A current C Class Driver's Licence
Experience in logistics operations (including transport, ISO/container management or similar) will be highly regarded.
