About the role – what you'll be doing
We're seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Brisbane team and work across a diverse range of insurance-related residential, commercial and industrial repair projects.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll take ownership of your work, contribute to high-quality outcomes on site, and play an important role in restoring properties to a safe and professional standard following damage or loss.
You'll work closely with other trades, supervisors, suppliers and our admin and construction teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard - all while representing Ezy Projects with professionalism and pride.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Complete day-to-day carpentry and general building repair works
* Carry out insurance repair works across residential, commercial and industrial sites
* Order materials and coordinate with other trades on site
* Monitor job progress and report updates as required
* Schedule and plan tasks to keep jobs running smoothly
* Ensure WHS procedures are followed and upheld on site
* Communicate professionally with customers, clients, suppliers and internal teams
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you'll be a qualified carpenter who takes pride in your workmanship and can work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
You will bring:
* Certificate III in Carpentry
* Current White Card / Construction Induction Card
* Current valid Australian driver's licence
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Insurance building experience (desirable, but not essential)
