About Qualia
Qualia is a child and family centred occupational therapy service that has been serving the Inner West Sydney since 2010. Our focus is to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
We partner with families to achieve our vision by:
* honouring strengths and embracing all kinds of diversity
* using an occupation focused lens to support participation in meaningful activities
* helping children and their families develop skills and overcome barriers
* empowering and supporting caregivers and educators
* working collaboratively with the whole team around the child
* helping each child feel like they belong in this world.
Qualia therapists have one thing in common: we all love to learn. We engage in lifelong learning to ensure we are equipped with the best possible toolbox of evidence-based strategies and approaches to best support the children and families we work with. We incorporate all occupational therapy approaches to create an individualised program to ensure functional goal achievement.
The Qualia team works from a clinic in Gladesville with a sunny rooftop courtyard. Our therapists also spend days supporting students in local schools where we hold strong, collaborative partnerships to support children within their natural setting. We are a National Disability Insurance Scheme provider and work with a number of local health professionals to ensure collaboration.
