Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced reliability engineer to provide high-level specialist leadership in the development, optimisation and performance of water, sewer and reuse assets. This role will play a critical part in shaping asset strategy by delivering expert insights, technical advice and evidence-based recommendations that inform investment decisions and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:
* To drive improved asset reliability and support operational excellence across water, sewer and reuse assets.
* To contribute to departmental and organisational objectives by ensuring infrastructure is safe, sustainable and capable of meeting current and future customer needs.
* To lead, direct and contribute to the application of reliability engineering practices to eliminate defects, analyse mean time to failure, and optimise investment interventions to maintain expected levels of service.

Requirements:
This role requires a degree in Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent competency. The successful candidate will have minimum 10 years experience in a similar role with a focus on reliability engineering, strong experience within asset management and process management, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe, healthy and supportive work environment.
