We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across various matters, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.
* Main Responsibilities:
* File management, including opening files and diary management.
* Answering phone calls and assisting clients with their queries.
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
* Filing documentation on the online court registry.
* Preparing tribunal and court documentation.
* Monitoring critical dates to ensure deadlines are met.
* Providing general support to lawyers and other team members as needed.
* Closing and archiving.
* Assisting with end-of-month invoicing.
Requirements:
* Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong background in administrative support, preferably with a legal background.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong work ethic.
* Sound Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
