In this role you will supervise the pre-delivery team, carry out pre-delivery services and fit-up jobs and assist in the effective operation of the Pre-Delivery Department.What you’ll be doing:Supervising and educating the pre-delivery team on correct workplace processes and procedures such as accessory fitting, installations and changeoutsBe the liaison between the service office and the floor – helping allocate, monitor and report on jobsLiaise with Sales and the Parts Department to deliver desired outcomesInspection and sign off of jobs to ensure all work is carried out to the manufacturers’ requirementsCarry out pre-delivery servicesProviding exceptional and professional customer serviceEnsuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy and that safe work practices are being followedAbout you:Experience in a similar role at a truck, car, machinery or agricultural dealershipTruck mechanic qualification or any other mechanic qualificationExperience leading a team with strong leadershipProblem-solver, team player, excellent communicator with high level organisational skillsCustomer-focused with strong customer service skillsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsQuality workmanshipKenworth or DAF experience (desirable)We also welcome truck mechanics wanting to progress into a leadership position.Attractive hourly rate + penalty ratesLeadership training and career advancementWell-equipped and supportive workshopsSocial events and friendly team environmentHealth and wellbeing support programsRetail, banking and health insurance discount programsWhat are you waiting for?
