Leadership Opportunity
As an Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will work closely with the House Supervisor to ensure the daily care of residents in our residential care homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership to the team in the absence of the House Supervisor.
* Collaborate with the House Supervisor to achieve program goals and objectives.
* Develop and implement strategies to promote resident well-being.
Requirements
* A relevant diploma with substantial experience.
* A current and valid Driver's Licence.
* A current and valid Employee Working with Children Check.
* A satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by us).
* A valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, and support a team.
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field.
* Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
