This role is required to work across multiple locations throughout the Wyndham Municipality.
The Technical Support Officer will provide high-quality technical support for events and performances at all venues within the responsibilities of the Cultural Venues Unit.
The role combines hands-on technical work with some administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth running of events while upholding safety and compliance within the venues.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver hands-on technical support for events and bump ins/outs, including operating lighting, audio and stage systems during rehearsals and performances
* Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on technical equipment to keep systems reliable and functional
* Maintain safe and organised backstage and technical areas, ensuring all spaces are performance-ready
* Support hybrid online meetings by managing live streaming systems
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Hands-on technical experience with lighting, audio and stage systems
* Ability to conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on technical equipment
* Strong organisational skills to maintain safe and efficient backstage and technical areas
* Proficiency in live streaming systems
