Hospitality Support Specialist
About the Role
This role involves delivering exceptional support to the hospitality team within a care home. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food services, cleaning, or a related field and be able to provide a personal and empathetic approach to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain legislated health and safety standards across all areas of the facility.
* Complete documentation and reporting as required.
* Respond to resident queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with laundry duties including loading washers and dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping, or ironing linen.
* Contribute to catering and food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, providing meals and snacks, and clearing dining areas and dishwashing.
* Participate in general cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in cleaning or food services is preferred but not essential.
* Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week.
* Awareness of work health and safety practices, with ability to work independently.
