An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Critical Care Unit at a private hospital in regional Victoria.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the NUM, you will provide strategic leadership and management within the unit. Your focus will be developing, implementing and evaluating services to key stakeholders to ensure best practice outcomes and service excellence within the department.
REQUIREMENTSCurrent registration with AHPRA; A minimum of 5 years of relevant postgraduate experience; Postgraduate qualification/s in leadership/management; or willingness to work towards; Ability to develop and strengthen medical, nursing and interdisciplinary relationships and teams; Ability to lead teams, empowering and mentoring caregivers; Ability to understand and respond to stakeholder needs; Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills; Demonstrated capacity to support and lead change; Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement /risk management program. ABOUT THE FACILITY
Hospital, located in
Bendigo, is a private hospital with four theatres, one endoscopy suite, a cardiac catheterisation lab and a new critical care/intensive care unit. The hospital is equipped with a co-located ICU and CCU. It has two ventilators and a hemofilter.
REMUNERATION
The pay rate is approx. $121,804.28 per annum with the ability to salary package up to $18,550 per year.
Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as a mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses, as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as novated leasing, work-related expenses, self-education and additional superannuation.
