Part Time Lighting Designer Role
This part-time role is designed for individuals with a passion for interior design and a flair for sales. As a Part Time Lighting Designer / Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to utilize your creative skills in a unique sales and design environment.
About the Role
* Work 48 hours over a fortnight, including Wednesday-Saturday, at our Tweed Heads store.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
* Providing expert professional customer service and product advice to our retail and trade customers in the showroom, as well as working on lighting design projects.
* Building the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities from our retail and trade customers.
* Nurturing client relationships through the entire design process.
* Reading and interpreting house and electrical plans to create inspirational lighting designs to suit the customers' needs and budget.
* Contributing to the overall presentation of the showroom through merchandising new products, assisting with promotional set ups, and general housekeeping.
* Staying up-to-date with the latest technology and trends in design.
About You
* Prior experience in a retail environment, achieving sales targets and working towards budgets.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with customers.
* An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job.
* The ability to multi-task and prioritize your work effectively.
* A strong attention to detail.
* Previous lighting design work experience or interior design studies are favorably looked upon, but not essential, as long as your passion for lighting and interior design shines through.
