About The Role

New Plumbing Solutions is building our team of Water Metering Technicians for our Urban Utility project – and we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing – A Day in the Life This Is a Field-based Role
* Start your day by checking your schedule
* Head out to site in your fully equipped work vehicle
* Perform field metering activities including installing/replacing meters, installing/replacing data loggers and completing metering investigations
* Accurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile app
* Log each completed job on our mobile app before moving to the next
Key Responsibilities, Include But Are Not Limited To
* Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance.
* Follow correct replacement procedures.
* Customer Service – face to face and phone
* Perform tasks within budgets and time frames
* Communicate regularly with office support team
* Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records
* Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S policies and procedures.
* Work independently day to day and to a schedule
About You
We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to help us on our ongoing project. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
* An aptitude for problem solving
* Attention to detail – Data Accuracy is a MUST!
* Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.
* Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (moderate degree of physical fitness)
* Ability to work in most weather conditions.
* Flexible and comfortable with daily travel
* A current driver's licence
* Blue card & Police Check
