* Permanent opportunity to join Westpac's Global Control Room assisting to manage Organisational Conflicts
* Full-time role, based in Sydney or Melbourne
* Utilise your curiosity and attention to detail to assist in managing conflicts of interest in a fast paced and changing environment.
What's the role?
Based in Sydney or Melbourne, this full-time position places you at the centre of our compliance and risk efforts, working across teams to identify, assess, and manage conflicts of interest especially in relation to transactional conflicts, research, and information barriers. You'll be assisting with reviewing transactions across multiple divisions, providing timely advice and guidance on information barriers, providing research clearance, as well as taking an active role in organisational conflicts project and initiatives.
What do I need?

* An interest in the management of information and conflicts within a financial services environment
* Curiosity of understanding not just how we manage our day-to-day, but why and the associated risks for making sure we can deliver safely
* Analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in Excel and a talent for turning conflict data into actionable insights and reporting.
* Agility and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory landscape while maintaining clarity and focus under pressure.
* Driven and motivated to manage tasks autonomously as well as part of a cohesive global team
* Experience in control room or conflicts is beneficial, or a relevant legal, compliance or regulatory background.
