What You Will Do
We are seeking a driven, go‑getter Key Account Manager to lead our Sigma Healthcare portfolio (Chemist Warehouse, Amcal, Discount Drug Store). You will be responsible for supporting day‑to‑day operations, shaping customer strategy, ensuring flawless execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and leading the promotional management cycle – costing, negotiation, execution and post‑promotional analysis.
This role requires learning agility, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day‑to‑day operations of the Sigma Retail portfolio (Amcal, DDS & select categories in Chemist Warehouse) and lead the promotional management cycle.
* Execute the business plan and deliver goals within budgets.
* Work cross‑functionally with Category, Field, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance teams.
* Develop promotional programs that drive ROI within assigned budgets.
* Negotiate, align and execute promotional activities for smooth delivery.
* Maintain relationships with accounts to ensure accurate and timely execution of the customer business plan.
* Drive the business‑planning cycle – from annual category information days to bi‑annual category reviews.
* Analyze promotional activity versus KPIs as part of continuous improvement, delivering recommendations monthly.
* Forecast, accrue and actualize promotional investment.
* Track NTS, market share and supply‑chain metrics for your portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Business/Accounting or related discipline.
* Ideally experience in a Field, Key Account, Category, Marketing role.
* Creative problem‑solver able to draw insights from multiple data sets.
* Strong financial acumen and analytical ability.
* Insight‑driven, keen eye toward customer and shopper trends.
* Strong presentation, negotiation and selling skills.
* Resilient, adaptable, solution‑oriented in fast‑paced environments.
* Highly proficient in Excel, forecasting systems and commercial reporting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
