About the Company: A privately owned business focused on utilities, infrastructure and material processing. With an excellent base of repeat clientele in the mining, resources, utilities and infrastructure markets here in WA. A people centric company, they pride themselves on being a value driven business and operate with genuine care and accountability.
They have experienced consistent growth in the last 2 years and now have a team of 300 strong. They currently have a requirement for a HR Business Partner to join the business and partner with their leadership team to provide guidance and advice on all people & culture activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the HR & recruitment teams and act as a trusted consultant to the leadership group.
* Strong ER/IR experience and the ability to provide advice, coaching, guidance and support when it comes to issues relating to performance, disciplinary matters, investigations, terminations etc.
* Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, awards & enterprise agreements.
* Develop, maintain, and update relevant policies and procedures.
* Proactively adopt emerging technologies and strategic HR initiatives to support organisational growth and employee engagement.
* Conduct remuneration benchmarking and pay reviews & advise on pay recommendations.
* Contribute to the design & consultation for the periodic Enterprise Agreement process.
Key Requirements:
* Qualifications in Human Resources - a Degree or Diploma in HR is essential.
* Previous HR Advisor/Snr HR Advisor experience in the mining/resources/infrastructure sectors is essential.
* Strong HR background working with a FIFO blue-collar workforce (70% of the workforce is blue collar, with a high percentage of the workers being FIFO/DIDO).
* Previous experience leading and managing a team.
* Current C Class Drivers Licence.
* First Aid/Mental Health First Aid is preferred.
