The Department Leader plays a critical role in driving student learning outcomes and attendance at a remote Indigenous community school in North West Queensland.
As the head of department, you will be responsible for improving student performance and behaviour through strategic intervention strategies.
The successful candidate must possess strong teaching competence, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to foster a culture grounded in professional integrity.
* Leading intervention strategies informed by student performance and behaviour monitoring.
* Strategic management capabilities, including data analysis and report preparation.
* Strong engagement with parents, staff, higher education institutions, and external organisations.
