Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team based in Maroochydore. As a Speech Pathologist working within the NDIS, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills and overcome challenges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for NDIS participants
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports
- Educate and support families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
- Stay updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech pathology
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services
- Manage caseloads effectively and meet NDIS reporting requirements
