About This Role Role Responsibilities • Coordinating with the various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of activities. • Assisting project governance by ensuring process adherence and problem solving in responding to Project challenges • Supports project activities of scoping, pricing, budgeting and documenting including managing contract variations for Projects with the governance and reporting platforms • Actively participates in project authorization project alongside Project Manager, Analyst and Planner/Scheduler to understand the business requirements and commercial arrangements • Providing detailed knowledge of business requirements and standards, technical methods, and existing processes. • Validating task estimates of team members • Supporting the Project Manager by developing sub project plans for their area of expertise/responsibility • Maintaining the financial tasking of all project accounting for the project/platform • Maintaining the project schedule in accordance with the Planner/Scheduler and ensures it is base-lined with correct resource levelling. • Managing all information assets, including meeting minutes for key meetings and ensuring document control. • Collation and analysis of data for reporting purposes and preparation of reports Essential Qualifications and Experience Associate or Bachelor's degree 3-5 years project administration or project management experience Project Fundamentals Diploma in Administration/Business/Finance or equivalent Cert IV Project Management or equivalent Note: as the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
