The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our growing and amazing team in our Albany Clinic.
Our Registered Nurse will provide high quality, accurate and efficient medical imaging nursing services to the business, whilst ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and customers, and achieving quality, cost and productivity targets for the business.
This is a permanent full-time role reporting directly to the Chief Technologist.
Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
1. Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure.
2. Interventional Procedures Include: Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages and Pain Management Injections.
3. Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers.
Our Ideal Registered Nurse
To be successful in this role, you will have prior exposure working in a clinic or hospital environment as an Registered Nurse. Your communication skills will be strong and high-quality patient-centred care will sit at the heart of all that you do. You will be able to prioritise your workload, work independently and be able to respond to various situations within a busy clinic effectively and efficiently.
Please note, you will hold a Bachelor of Nursing as a minimum and will have a current AHPRA Registration. Bonus points if you have prior IV Cannulation and radiology experience.
