Salary: $88,178 to $127,737 per annum (pro‐rata – SEA GA2023).

The Role
Seeking a friendly and passionate English Teacher to deliver an engaging, relevant secondary school English curriculum. The successful applicant will ideally:
* Deliver engaging curriculum across a range of ability levels and lower school year groups (desirable).
* Teach English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) (advantageous).
* Facilitate literacy support with smaller groups of students.
* Use data to make evidence‐based decisions.
* Create an inclusive and safe learning environment, incorporate technology, accommodate individual needs, provide timely feedback to students and parents, and celebrate curiosity and creativity.
* Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and commit to student achievement and the school community.
* Contribute to the Whole School Instructional Framework and employ high‐impact teaching strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
