Norco AgriSolutions has been serving customers since 1948, with 26 stores across NSW and QLD, Animal Nutrition mills, and an in-house commodity trading team. We provide customers with competitive, convenient and trusted business solutions that add value to their businesses. Whether customers are growing, breeding, or seeking general or more specialised technical advice, our in-store and field teams are there to help with their subject matter knowledge and expertise.
About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity available in our Toowoomba retail store for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised self-starter to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone new to join a supportive, community-focused store team. Weekend work is required, including Saturdays as rostered.
Your Day-to-day Activities Will Include
Provide agricultural advisory and sales services, building partnerships with customers through sound technical advice.Proactively source new customers to achieve branch KPIs and sales targets.Assist with inventory, including ordering, receipting, stocktakes and sales and generate quotes.Deliver products to customers, including load/unload activities (forklift) and delivery runs (HR licence highly desirable).
About You
You’ll be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with strong customer service and sales capability. You can meet deadlines while balancing competing priorities, and you have a genuine interest in agriculture and rural products.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
Strong customer service and sales experience.Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment (highly desirable).Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.Technical skills in agricultural science, animal health or agronomy are an advantage.Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, POS systems and general fit to perform the manual handling aspects of the role.A strong focus on work health and safety (WHS).Drivers licence essential.Forklift licence (essential).HR licence (highly desirable).
