About the opportunity: We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity as a Procurement Officer to join our Maritime business based in Adelaide.
The position is fixed term until 31 May 2026.
We embrace flexible work arrangements, such as a 9-day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
Aid the procurement elements of bids and tenders, ensuring robust definition of requirements and commercial terms
Support the supplier evaluation process and sourcing recommendations on behalf of the business
Support the development of robust supplier sourcing strategies for the business
Proactively manage supplier performance to meet contract requirements (schedule, cost, quality) and develop relevant KPIs
Lead supplier negotiations and finalise Supplier Agreements and purchase orders in accordance with procedures and Delegations Of Authority
About You
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable
Defence industry experience would be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain
Familiarity with development and negotiation of contracts with key suppliers
Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on commitments
Previous experience with Aveva and/or Oracle will be highly regarded
Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
