Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Manual Handling: Aid clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques and assisting with exercises.
* Community Engagement: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
* Domestic Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
* Behavioural Management: Handle clients with high behaviours, employing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Direct Care Assistance: Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan and as directed by the coordinator.
* Documentation: Ensure completion of relevant documentation, including client notes.
* Collaboration: Work with clients, family/carers, and other professionals to support individual goals.
Requirements:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance.
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required).
* Smartphone with internet access.
