Join our team as a Senior Management Accountant - Business Partnering

Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and mentor the Business Partnering Unit to deliver financial management, reporting, budgeting, and strategic forecasting.
* Analyse financial data and provide expert advice on asset management, costing, depreciation, and performance reporting to support corporate goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and tailored financial support.
* Deliver proactive customer service, including training and advice, to improve financial capability across departments.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Financial Services Group to enhance processes and outcomes.
Skills and experience:
* Strong knowledge and experience in applying accounting principles, methodologies and legislation for management accounting and reporting.
* Proven ability to lead and manage staff, build team capability, and achieve objectives through delegation and motivation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing, coaching, and mentoring, with experience building strong stakeholder relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial projects alongside day-to-day activities, ensuring cost-effective services within budget.
* High level of financial systems literacy with experience producing customised reports.
* An understanding of National Competition Policy (NCP) Guidelines, knowledge of the Local Government Act 2009 and associated regulations, and experience with CiAnywhere are desirable.
