About you:
In your new role you will;
Provide high level psychology assessment, consultation, therapeutic intervention and discharge planning for Paediatric patients and their families, particularly where exacerbation of symptoms is associated with psychological distress and adjustment difficulties.
Utilise high level communication skills to provide professional advice to medical and nursing staff, allied health professionals, non-professionals, community organisations and to patients and their carers regarding clinical and health psychology areas.
Facilitate and contribute to clinical research, education and training activities within the work unit and across the broader service to support quality outcomes for patients.
Perform the majority of tasks and duties with a high degree of independence, including provision of independent clinical services of a complex and varied nature.
