Service Delivery Manager Opportunity
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall service operation across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring profitability and growth.
This role involves leading and coaching a team of field service technicians, establishing strong relationships with key customers and suppliers, and developing and delivering port service solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach a team of field service technicians in operational activities
* Ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through regular visits
* Grow, promote, operate, and maintain the port service frontline, including long-term service agreements and spare parts business
* Plan and monitor field labour hours to maximize profitability and productivity
* Monitor key service metrics, including profitability, productivity, and recovery
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline
* Minimum 5 years industry experience in a service-related management position
* Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Demonstrated technical competence in terminal operations/port equipment desirable
* Demonstrated experience negotiating contract terms and conditions
* Exceptional leadership skills with ability to motivate, inspire, and engage diverse workforce
