Unlike generic loyalty or ordering apps, PerkCup is being designed from the ground up around the real operational and commercial challenges cafés face:

We are now seeking a highly capable developer to help bring the platform to commercial launch and scale.
The Opportunity
This is not a typical "build me an app" role.
You will work directly with the founder as a key technical partner in shaping a scalable hospitality SaaS platform with significant long-term potential in the Australian café market and beyond.
The product vision is already established, branding and market direction are defined, and development groundwork has begun. We now need someone who can help:
• Refine architecture
• Complete core functionality
• Improve scalability
• Optimise user experience
• Prepare the platform for rollout
You will have genuine influence over the technical direction of the company.
What You'll Be Working On
Core Product Areas:
• Café ordering and customer engagement systems
• Loyalty and retention mechanics
• Business analytics dashboards
• Marketing and campaign tools
• Customer behaviour insights
• Future AI-driven reporting and recommendation systems
• POS and accounting integrations
• Operational and performance reporting
Planned Integrations:
• Square
• Xero
• Payment providers
• POS ecosystems
• Hospitality software infrastructure
Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to app development across frontend and backend systems
• Improve application architecture, performance, and scalability
• Build APIs and third-party integrations
• Assist with deployment and production readiness
• Collaborate directly on feature planning and technical strategy
• Implement clean, maintainable, scalable code practices
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges proactively
• Contribute ideas that improve product direction and user experience
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys startup environments

Strongly Desired Skills:
• React Native, Flutter, Node.js, Firebase, Supabase, or similar modern stacks
• Experience building scalable SaaS products
