Your Responsibilities:
* You will oversee the delivery of high-quality aged and disability services, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
* The ideal candidate will lead strategic planning for programs responding to emerging community needs.
* Representing the voices of older residents and individuals with disabilities in Council decision-making is also a key aspect of this role.
* Monitoring budgets, preparing reports, and making meaningful presentations to leadership and Council are essential tasks.
* You will develop staff performance plans and grow a positive, capable, and collaborative team.
* E nsuring operations are efficient, innovative, and aligned with a triple bottom line approach is crucial.
* Driving continuous improvement across policies, service delivery, and strategic planning is also required.
What You'll Bring:
* A tertiary qualification in Human Services (or relevant field) is necessary.
* At least 5 years' experience in leading programs in aged care, disability, or related human services is required.
* Strong leadership and people management skills across diverse service areas are essential.
* A deep understanding of business systems, funding requirements, and community-centred care is necessary.
* Proven ability to lead change and deliver outcomes in a dynamic policy environment is required.
* Excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills – you build trust and get results.
* A current driver's licence is necessary.
