The Role:
The Warehouse Team Member at Australian Defence Apparel Pty Ltd plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. ADA is looking for 2-3 x Temporary Full-Time 6-month contracts located in Hume ACT commencing early February until late July 2026. These positions are required from Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods accurately to ensure inventory integrity.
* Picking and packing orders with attention to detail to meet customer specifications.
* Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
* Conducting regular stock counts and assisting in inventory management to prevent discrepancies.
* Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (if certified).
* Collaborating with team members to optimise workflow processes and improve efficiency.
* Assisting in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Attention to detail, all training will be provided to use the scanner to scan the stock into the system
* Experience in a similar role.
* Understanding of WH&S procedures and principles.
* Understanding of warehouse and distribution processes and technologies.
* Good oral/written communication.
* Comfortable counting for long periods of time during our stock take periods.
Days and Times:
* Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
* 2nd February 2026 until 31st July 2026
Required Checks:
* Willingness to undertake a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
* Right to work in Australia
