About the role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager to join our Business Advisory team for the Busselton Office to manage a client base.
This role requires a forward-thinking and ambitious professional who communicates well with people and uses their technical knowledge for the benefit of a diverse client base.
This is a leadership role where you'll manage and mentor a team, deliver exceptional client service, and contribute to the growth of our practice.
You'll work closely with partners and clients across diverse industries, providing strategic advice, preparing financial statements, and overseeing tax compliance.
For a Manager, you'll also lead workflow planning, review complex work and drive business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
Provide strategic business advisory services and practical solutions to clients.
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation.
For Senior Manager: Plan and delegate work, review team outputs, and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
About you
You must have the ability to think strategically so as to contribute to the development of businesses in the Busselton / Margaret River area.
You will be supported by a group of like-minded professionals of various skill levels and hence the ability to work well in a team is very important.
What We're Looking For
Senior Accountant: CA/CPA qualified (or near completion), with experience in business advisory and mentoring junior staff.
Manager: CA/CPA qualified, 8+ years in professional services, and 3-4 years managing a team.
Strong technical knowledge, communication skills and a proactive approach.
Ability to work autonomously and lead others effectively.
