Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Manager, Quality and Safeguarding on a full-time ongoing basis.
As the Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Leading the strategic direction of the DCP's quality agenda and providing accountability for excellence in clinical governance systems.
· Coordinating processes to achieve and maintain quality outcomes against required child protection standards.
· Planning and implementing activities aimed at promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement across DCP.
· Advising on operational, quality and risk implications in establishing new clinical programs and developing implementation plans where required.
About You
We are looking for a strategic thinker with experience in leadership of complex change in partnership with clinical and corporate staff.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing quality programs and policy development, and in directing contemporary strategy to ensure effective safety and quality governance.
Within this role, you will also be expected to have demonstrated knowledge of business improvement, performance management and information governance processes.
You will have exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and an ability to negotiate successful outcomes in a resourceful manner.
