Network Operations Power System Engineer
We are seeking a seasoned power system engineer to join our team and contribute to the secure and reliable operation of high-voltage transmission networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power system engineering, including experience with EMS, PSS/E, and other specialist analysis tools.

Provide expert advice on system security and network performance
Collaborate with internal teams to establish network limits and contingency plans
Drive improvements in compliance, modelling, and reporting systems
Requirements:
For Senior Power System Engineer:
Minimum 10 years' experience in an engineering-related role or 7 years in an operational role within the electricity industry
Proven technical leadership and ability to influence and mentor others
Solid strategic thinking and ability to drive improvements and change
Demonstrated capability in asset rating maintenance and interpreting stakeholder requirements
Experience in leading change management processes and contributing to operational and technical planning
Proficiency in EMS, PSS/E, and other specialist analysis tools such as PSCAD, Power Factory, PLEXOS, and Matlab
For Experienced Power System Engineer:
Minimum 5 years' experience in network operations or 7 years in an engineering-related role
Solid foundation in network planning, real-time analysis, and compliance
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Familiarity with EMS, PSS/E, and other analysis tools is advantageous
