HyeCare provides personalised Support at Home services, delivering wellness, engagement, and practical support to residents in their own homes. Together, Hyegrove and HyeCare create a seamless lifestyle experience, combining hospitality, community, and personalised care.

Position Overview

Events and Lifestyle Staff are vital in bringing Hyegrove and HyeCare to life through engaging activities, events, and experiences. Working under the guidance of the Events and Wellness Coordinator, staff will deliver programs across both retirement living and in-home support, ensuring residents experience fun, social connection, and wellbeing. This role focuses on activity delivery, resident engagement, and creating enjoyable daily experiences for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Activity & Event Delivery

* Deliver lifestyle activities and events across Hyegrove (retirement living) and HyeCare (Support at Home) as directed by the Events and Wellness Coordinator.
* Facilitate a variety of programs including fitness, arts, music, cultural celebrations, social gatherings, outings, and educational sessions.
* Run small-group or in-suite activities for HyeCare residents who prefer personalised engagement.
* Encourage resident participation, adapt activities to individual preferences, and ensure enjoyable experiences for all.

Resident Engagement & Community

* Build positive, friendly relationships with residents, families, and carers.
* Support social, emotional, and recreational wellbeing for both retirement living and in-home clients.
* Observe and report feedback, engagement, and any resident needs to the Events and Wellness Coordinator.
* Work closely with the Events and Wellness Coordinator to deliver seamless programs and events.
* Collaborate with Concierge, Food and Beverage Teams, and Clinical teams for event logistics.
* Assist in liaising with external entertainers, community groups, and wellness providers as directed.
* Participate in team briefings, meetings, and training sessions to maintain quality and consistency.

Health, Safety & Compliance

* Follow all Hyegrove and HyeCare policies, procedures, and WHS requirements.
* Ensure safe use of equipment, materials, and spaces during activities.
* Maintain accurate activity logs, attendance records, and report incidents appropriately.

About You

* Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health, Community Services, Diversional Therapy, Lifestyle Coordination, or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
* Experience delivering lifestyle, recreational, or engagement programs in retirement living, aged care, or community settings.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Passion for creating fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for older adults.
* Flexible availability to support evenings, weekends, and special events.
* Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
* National Police Check and eligibility to work in Australia.
* Experience in a premium and concierge-style environment.
* Understanding of retirement living and Support at Home services.
* Training in dementia care, mental health first aid, or similar specialist areas.
