This is a hands-on, business facing finance partnering role supporting departmental leadership teams and project stakeholders. Overview: Reporting into the ELT, and working as part of Finance Leadership team, you'll lead a team of finance business partners to support department heads and project leads with contract analysis, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business case evaluation, while uplifting financial acumen across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with departmental leadership to provide meaningful insights on financial performance.Lead the creation and review of budgets, forecasts, FTE planning, and cost allocation models.Support major projects and initiatives, providing financial oversight and input into strategic project reviews and stakeholder meetings.Conduct product and service line profitability assessments to guide operational decisions.Review business cases and provide analytical input to procurement activities.Deliver financial workshops and coaching to non-finance stakeholders.Support ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling, and resource allocation decisions.Ensure departmental alignment with key finance timetables and reporting cycles.About You: My client is looking for an experienced commercial finance leader and business partner, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. You must be confident working with department heads and project stakeholders, translating complex financials into clear insights that drive better decisions.
CA/CPA qualified with significant experience in commercial finance and business partnering, within a large and complex or regulated environment.Experience analysing and interpreting contracts to assist in commercial decision making.Demonstrative success in leading business partnering teams and delivering through others.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business case reviews (essential).Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.A proactive, analytical mindset with a drive for improvement and efficiency.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with senior leaders.Experience using large ERP systems, BI tools, and Advanced Excel including financial modelling.Financial Services, technology or customer intrinsic industry exposure is beneficial but not essential.Why Apply?
