**Business Analytics Consultant**
**The Opportunity**
Our Process, Management and Quality team are currently looking for an experienced Business Analytics Consultant who will be responsible for supporting various departments across the business with reporting, insights, and analytics. The core focus will be to extract data from various sources and create dashboards and/or reports.
This is a full time, fixed term 24 month contract based in Mulgrave.
**Additionally, the role is responsible for**:
- Utilise ETL (extract, transform, load) techniques to extract data from various sources and transform it into usable formats for reporting and self-serve data marts. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness throughout the process.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards tailored to the specific needs of function heads, providing them with access to key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues through root cause analysis, promptly resolving them to minimise any disruptions to reporting processes.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, providing timely and insightful responses to ad-hoc queries, including analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Continuously review and enhance reporting processes to optimise efficiency and identify areas for automation, streamlining workflows and reducing manual effort.
- Develop documentation for reporting processes, data dictionaries, and regularly update and improve these documents to ensure clarity and alignment with reporting needs.
**What you will bring to this role**
- Tertiary studies completed in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Commerce or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SQL (experience with SAS regarded highly)
- Data visualisation (Tableau)
- Strong Networking and Relationship Building Skills (Group Stakeholder Management)
