Operations Manager – Early Learning | Adelaide (10 Centres)

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager with proven multi-site leadership experience to oversee a portfolio of early learning centres. This role is suited to a confident, established leader who has already operated across multiple sites within early childhood and is ready to take full ownership of performance, culture and quality outcomes at scale.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you'll balance strategic oversight with visible, supportive leadership — empowering Centre Managers to succeed while maintaining strong operational and compliance standards across your portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coaching and supporting Centre Managers to achieve strong outcomes across quality, occupancy, team wellbeing and family satisfaction
* Monitoring centre performance and identifying opportunities to lift results and consistency
* Partnering with internal teams to ensure compliance, safety and operational excellence
* Conducting regular centre visits to provide leadership support, assess standards and recognise success
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies across your portfolio
* Championing a culture of growth, accountability and continuous improvement
About You
You're an experienced early learning leader with demonstrated multi-site management experience, confident leading across multiple centres and supporting Centre Managers to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
You'll bring:
* Proven experience managing or overseeing multiple early learning centres
* A strong track record of coaching and developing Centre Managers to lift performance and culture
* Deep understanding of early learning operations, compliance and quality at scale
* Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements
* A confident, pragmatic leadership style with a team-oriented and coaching mindset
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge and support leaders
