Nurse Coordinator - Paediatric Oncology Unit
This position requires the candidate to provide patient care services as a team member, supporting staff and colleagues in delivering quality care. The professional nurse must ensure that their Scope of Practice regulations are adhered to at all times.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring timely and effective delivery of nursing interventions
* Developing, implementing and evaluating patient care plans
* Leading by example and promoting positive attitudes among peers and patients
* Providing accurate records and documentation of all interventions

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated healthcare professional with excellent communication skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences. They must also have experience working in paediatric oncology units and possess a basic life support certification (ACLS; ATLS; PALS training).
Required Education and Qualifications
* Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
* Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
* Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing if placed in a specialist unit
