The Role: Join a high performance engineering team delivering one of the most complex wireless transformations in Victoria. We are engaging a Senior Wireless Architect to lead the migration of large scale networks, including major Stadiums, Universities, and Hospitals, transitioning from legacy AireOS environments to the next gen Cisco Catalyst 9800 and DNA stack. Lead the transition from legacy controllers (5508/5520) to IOS-XE (Cat9800). You will be responsible for translating legacy "AP Groups" into the new "Tags & Profiles" configuration model without service interruption. Perform and analyse complex RF surveys using Ekahau AI Pro. You will calculate link budgets, antenna patterns, and cell density for high capacity environments where failure is not an option. Expert troubleshooting, act as the final escalation point. You will use deep data analysis to diagnose and repair difficult connectivity, security authentication, and network stability issues. About You: Fluent in migration architecture and the new config logic; Policy, Site, and RF Tags are second nature to you. Proven experience performing ISSU (In-Service Software Upgrades) and hot patching in 24/7 critical environments. Mastery of layer 1 troubleshooting using Spectrum Analyzers (Sidekick 2) to identify non Wi-Fi interference. 8 years in Enterprise Wireless Engineering Certification: CCIE Enterprise Wireless (or legacy Wireless) If this opportunity aligns with your expertise and aspirations, please hit apply!
