is expanding our delivery team and is seeking an experienced
Software & Systems Engineer
to support
secure, mission-critical Defence and Government programs
.
About the Role
You'll work across the full lifecycle of
secure ICT systems
, contributing to design, development, integration, and sustainment in regulated environments.
Key responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain software and system components across
on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
* Support
systems engineering activities
(requirements, design, integration, testing, deployment)
* Apply
secure coding and system hardening
aligned with
PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight
* Integrate applications with infrastructure, networks, and
AWS / Azure
platforms
* Contribute to
DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
* Support operational systems, incident resolution, and continuous improvement
* Produce clear technical documentation and engage with client stakeholders
About You
You'll bring:
* Experience as a
Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or both
* Strong understanding of
SDLC and systems engineering principles
* Hands-on skills in
Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell
* Exposure to
AWS and/or Azure
environments
* Experience working in
Agile / DevOps teams
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* NV1 Security Clearance or higher
