Reporting into the Group FC of this large Australian business, this role presents a great opportunity to join this successful business, within a high performance, supportive team environment.
Sitting in group finance, you will be responsible for consolidated financial reporting/stat accounts and provision of technical accounting advice to the wider business.
You will also have exposure to a number of ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
Qualifications: You are a CA (or CPA) qualified accountant making a second move from a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm, with experience in a financial accountant role (ideally group/corporate level).
Alternatively, you may have a background in a similar role within another large corporate environment.
Requirements: You should have very well-developed Excel skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting standards (including IFRS and financial instruments such as hedging and derivatives), and excellent communication skills.
