Bresland Insurance & Risk Specialists is a growing Corporate Authorised Representative of Insurance Advisernet, providing strategic insurance and risk advice to SME, rural and not-for-profit clients across Western Australia.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior / Senior Broker to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone with broking experience who is ready to take the next step beyond pure administration and build technical capability across renewals, quoting and claims.
About the Role
Working closely with the director, senior brokers and our Claims Manager, you will support the full insurance lifecycle across commercial portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
* Broking & Account Management Support
* Manage policy renewals and prepare renewal reports
* Obtain, review and compare insurer quotations
* Process endorsements, new business and policy adjustments
* Prepare client documentation and insurance schedules
* Conduct policy checking and ensure compliant file records
* Assist with premium funding and debtor management
* Claims Support
* Assist with lodging commercial and domestic claims
* Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters and third parties
* Monitor claim progress and provide client updates
* Support proactive and efficient claim resolution
Skills & Experience
* 2+ years' experience in insurance broking or underwriting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Experience with commercial insurance policies (Business Pack, Liability, Motor, ISR, Farm preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident written and verbal communication
* Ability to manage competing deadlines
* Diploma of Insurance (highly regarded but not essential)
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
* Experience using various broking systems will be advantageous
