This role involves providing support to individuals with disabilities in developing meaningful relationships and participating in valued community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recreational Support: Encouraging participants to engage in leisure activities such as joining local sports clubs, playing at the park or swimming.
* Challenging Behaviours: Supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or mental health challenges in managing their behaviors.
* Building Independent Living Skills: Assisting with daily tasks such as cooking, managing finances, home maintenance, and learning to use public transport.
Applicants should have experience working with people with developmental disabilities and a valid driver's license (preferably).
