About the role
* Deliver high-quality podiatric care by assessing, planning, organizing, and evaluating patient care in alignment with AHPRA guidelines and SVHA policies, ensuring timely achievement of patient health outcomes.
* Provide podiatry services tailored to individual client needs, community needs, and the service's objectives, while prioritising referrals based on service policy and current demand.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a culturally sensitive manner to develop and implement intervention strategies that address patient needs.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure coordinated and continuous care and maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care in accordance with SVHS standards.
* Stay updated with best practices and engage in continuous professional development, providing podiatric education and guidance to patients, families, and students while upholding the values of SVHA in all interactions.

* A passion for providing high-quality foot care to clients, especially those meeting CHSP selection criteria, is essential.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development through regular mentoring, team education, and continuous learning opportunities.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in working alongside podiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively to meet patient care objectives within agreed timeframes.
* Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and expertise, providing podiatric education to patients, families, and healthcare teams, and supporting students during clinical placements.
