We’re looking for a Manufacturing General Hand who wants to be part of a supportive and safety-focused team.
This is a full-time role based in Thornton, NSW, with working hours 9am - 5pm.
What you'll do:
* Assist in assembling components or parts according to specifications provided by the production team.
* Set up, operate and manage various machines across the manufacturing process
* Assist or perform mould changes, start-ups, and shutdowns.
* Perform manual tasks such as lifting, packing, sorting, and labelling of products
* Inspect goods and materials for defects or irregularities during the production process, report discrepancies, and collaborate with the relevant departments to resolve any issues.
* Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues.
* Record production data and perform light preventative maintenance.
* Comply with all safety and environmental standards.
* Keep production area clean, organised, and free of clutter.
What you'll bring:
* Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment
* Experience operating machinery (highly regarded)
* A positive, can-do attitude

* Understands the importance of safety, quality and respect
* Comfortable with physical tasks and standing for long periods of time
