Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Buying & Merchandise Planning, ANZ to partner with the Australian Leadership Team. This senior role involves shaping and executing our merchandise strategy, aligning global and regional visions with local execution, and delivering Ralph Lauren's signature style and elevated experience.

Future-Focused Leadership

* Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of merchandising professionals, fostering collaboration and customer-centric insights.

Market Expert

* Provide insights on consumer trends, pricing, and competitors.
* Create seasonal product briefs balancing market needs with brand vision.
* Collaborate with APAC Buying & Planning to curate assortments.
* Support retail expansion with merchandise plans for new stores and activations.

Brand & Strategy Champion

* Develop and communicate seasonal strategies across functions such as Retail, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Design.
* Deliver impactful product training and storytelling.
* Adapt global initiatives to drive local relevance and growth.
* Analyze sales trends and inventory, developing action plans.
* Recommend visual, promotional, and product adjustments to enhance performance.
* Identify replenishment and incentive opportunities.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Proven leadership in merchandise planning within fashion or apparel retail.
* Exceptional Excel and data analysis skills to interpret complex metrics and financial data.
* Strategic thinking, market trend analysis, and innovative product strategy development.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for influencing and collaboration.
